Values

Who are we?

TEAM Rochester is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to partnering with area churches and ministry organizations to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We desire to encourage followers of Jesus Christ in greater Rochester to serve together in his name for his glory. Jesus prayed, “… that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.” – John 17:23 NASB

We strive to accomplish this vital task by:

  1. Supporting Prayer
  2. Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ
  3. Serving those in Need

We recognize our distinctives and work together to serve our community in Jesus’ name.

TEAM Rochester centralizes and builds on the unique and existing strengths, talents, and resources of its partners.

Serving as a unique connecting organization, TEAM Rochester is built on cooperation and combined ministry of many volunteers, area churches and organizations to meet spiritual and physical needs in our community.

TEAM Rochester is about supporting prayer, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, and serving those in need.

Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible as originally given by God, is divinely inspired, infallible, complete, trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith, knowledge, and life.

One God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin conception, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and his personal return in power and glory.

The Salvation of lost and sinful people comes by God’s grace through faith alone, apart from works, in the Lord Jesus Christ, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to live, witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers in the Church, the Body of Christ.

The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life, they that are lost to the resurrection of condemnation.
