TEAM Advancements

These are projects that TEAM Ministries is currently developing with other service organizations in the Rochester region. Partnering with these community connections, we are opening up new opportunities to assist and care for people in our local area.

Sharing Tree

This organization distributes clothing and other personal items that are new or gently used through donations and volunteer assistance.
This group has been partnering with the In His Name ministry giving away clothing at our food distributions on a quarterly basis. In 2010, we will be partnering at our IHN host sites on a monthly basis.

Champion Basketball

This organization offers the community recreational basketball leagues for youth in the fall and children in the winter months. The current season has 420 players registered as participants. (This is their second year of operation.)
This group is now partnering with TEAM Ministries in order to offer insurance coverage at its multiple sites for all league-related games (including the officials, coaches, players, gymnasiums, etc.). We also assist with weekly devotionals.

Community Outreach Center

This is a combined ministry of several local churches offering people the opportunity to gather for a variety of resources. One specific purpose is bringing people together throughout the community in order to participate in corporate prayer as well as joint evangelistic activities.
Partnering with two local churches in 2010, TEAM Rochester will be ministering in cooperation with these two neighborhood sites for prayer, service activities, and community outreach events.

Community Information Sharing System (Web of Care)

This community resource has been established to provide a central data base and service offering local organizations, ministries, and churches shared access to care, benevolence, tangible resources, and practical support.
This group is now partnering with TEAM Ministries to expand operations that will include the resources of numerous local agencies and our faith community.

In His Name - Ministry Expansion

The focus of this year's operation is providing our food and clothing distribution on both the second and fourth Saturdays of each month serving with two different local churches in the community as our host facility sites.
Partnering with four new "contact" churches and their volunteers, In His Name will be expanding to two Saturdays a month beginning in March 2010.
