“Together Evangelizing And Ministering to the Rochester Area”
The prayer focus of the TEAM Rochester Prayer Center is for intercession before the Lord on behalf of all facets of the City of Rochester. The expected results are a transformation in the city where Gods blessings abound and the love of Christ is apparent in all segments of the city. To accomplish this prayer objective, the following prayer focuses are needed:
- Self-examination: This focus is to prepare to be a person God would use for reaching Rochester. Elements of this focus are self-examination, repentance, reconciliation and commitment.
- Church of Rochester: The universal church is the human organization that Jesus established to work in this world. As such this focus includes prayer for unity of the Church of Rochester (all Christian churches in Rochester), boldness in sharing the gospel message in word and deed by reaching out to all elements of society in the city.
- City of Rochester: We seek to intercede for all facets of the City of Rochester which encompass all vocations (medical, government, retail, manufacturing, service, etc), all cultures, all age groups and all religions. The focus is an all inclusive community under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
